HEEL AND TOE GROUNDERS
Made from conductive rubber tape, they are used for earthing 7804.200 7804.201
personnel where mobility is required such as in storage areas and
where static protective flooring or mats have been installed.
Floors with a resistance to ground between 1 and 35MΩ are preferred.
A disposable heel grounder is available, ideal for plant visitors or anyone
requiring a temporary grounding device. (expected life of 1 day)

FOOTWEAR AND FLOOR REQUIREMENTS IN EPA AREA

According to the IEC 61340-5-1 regula on all operators shall be connected to ground when opera ng in contact with ESDS.

In case of personnel seated at an ESD protec ve worksta on, they shall be connected to ground via a wrist strap system

(Rg between 750kΩ -35MΩ) .
Standing operators may be grounded via a flooring / footwear system. When only the flooring / footwear system is used to ground

it is necessary to wear ESD footwear on both feet and sa sfy these 3 condi ons:
