Vermason Wrist Cords provide reliable electrical connections and are a necessary component of a successful
ESD control programme. Without cords, wrist bands, smocks, and gloves are completely ineffective. Wrist bands,
smocks, and gloves must be connected to ground via a wrist cord in order for them to function properly. Vermason
Wrist Cords are the best investment you can make in setting up your complete ESD protected workstation.
Our premium rapid retraction blue wrist cords feature high memory and less dragging on the
worksurface. Their superior strain relief design has passed 27,500,000 cycles, tested per industry
Bending Life Test. This exceeds over 1,700 times the minimum requirement. Our superior design
eliminates intermittent failures that can occur with less durable single and dual wire cord designs.
Our cords also feature patented* spring supported contour banana plugs. See details
below. In addition, spring loaded snaps provide consistent electrical contact and
maintain consistent release force with the wrist strap stud per EN 61340-5-2.
