Splice tape connectors are quick and easy to use, they can help to increase production and can be used on all SMT pick
and place feeders. Splice tape connectors provide a safe and reliable way to splice carrier tape together ensuring a
precise secure join. Jointing can be achieved by using our manual splice tool or semi-automatic splice tool.

Tape extenders

Splice tape extenders are used for adding extra length to a part reel reducing component waste.

By peeling off the backing tape from the yellow adhesive end and attaching this to the original carrier tape, these
extenders can add an extra 19” of tape, preventing component reel wastage and helping to reduce machine downtime.
